What do you think you’ll read next?

22299763  39863314  Star Wars 'Solo' Comic Books CR: Disney  81zzj2jtx5l  91AKNlV5IfL

Currently Reading: CROOKED KINGDOM by Leigh Bardugo
As part of the Great Series Read Project, I’m tackling part two of the SIX OF CROWS duology!  SIX OF CROWS was a phenomenal read that absolutely lived up to years of hype, so hopefully CROOKED KINGDOM can stick the landing.  It’s exciting to cross entire series off my lists (even if they’re only two books long!) and I’m looking forward to keeping this momentum going.

Recently Finished: LAST SHOT by Daniel José Older and THE PERFECT ASSASSIN by K.A. Doore
A holiday weekend here in the States meant that I had a little extra reading time and managed to get through all of THE PERFECT ASSASSIN in one weekend.  This read was a fun little adventure, but fell short of a four star.  Prior to that, I finished the Star Wars adventure LAST SHOT, which I largely found to be a fun space romp!

Probable Next Read: STORM CURSED by Patricia Briggs and/or AN ILLUSION OF THIEVES by Cate Glass
The order I read these is largely going to depend on how quickly I read CROOKED KINGDOM.  I’d like to read AN ILLUSION OF THIEVES before Wyrd and Wonder in May, so I can spend most of my reading time on backlist, but really, I’d be happy reading either of these next, and as they are both fantasy reads, they’ll both work with my Wyrd and Wonder TBR!

  1. The con I was at this weekend had a Tor launch party where they were giving away some free upcoming releases and they had The Perfect Assassin. I considered picking it up but thought it looked a little bit meh so went for something else instead!
