June 2019 Wrap Up

June is done and we’re officially halfway through the year!  This was a slower month for reading, a combination of my weekends being busy and my chosen books being a bit large and meaty.  My backlist reading has suffered a little this month, but in the positive, one of my 2019 reads is a STRONG contender for Best Book of the Year!  July I’m hoping to play whackamole with my ARCs and then free up some time for more backlist.

Great Series Read Project Update

Sigh….another month gone by, another month where I failed to tackle my series read goal.  On the plus side, this month I will have read both released books in the the SHADOW OF THE FOX series, making me up-to-date on this trilogy!  Next month I WILL read WORDS OF RADIANCE.  Nothing is going to stop me, that is the true goal of July!

  1. Goodness! Is it time to wrap up June already?! Yikes!!
Looks like you did well! Congrats! Also, I think its great that you’re setting goals for July as well. I think series are hard to tackle when so many good books are constantly coming out! I keep telling myself I’m going to catch up on series as well and I haven’t done very well with that either. Whomp-whomp!!

  2. I’m also doing terrible with catching up on series, welp, lol. Didn’t realize you were doing retellings bingo too! I may have to try that next year, I have too many challenges going on this year, lol! Also, progress is progress, so even if it’s slow it’s still good. Hope July is a great one for you. 🙂
