Currently Reading: FORTUNA by Kristyn Merbeth
After a month of fantasy, I’m swapping over to sci-fi!  FORTUNA is a space opera about a family of smugglers on the spaceship FORTUNA.  Second-oldest Scorpia is working to prove that she should be the one to inherit the family business, but with her oldest brother Corvus soon returning from war, her window to make her case is closing. Unfortunately for everyone, Corvus is bringing a mess of complications home with him. This has been a fun adventure so far!  I’m a little over a third into it; despite its 500 pages, it’s moving quickly and I expect I’ll have it finished by the end of the week.

Recently Finished: NEVERNIGHT by Jay Kristoff
WOW, I simply DEVOURED this one!  So glad NEVERNIGHT lived up to the hype!  I had a couple minor quibbles, but when I finished the book I had one of those moments where you just close the cover and stare into the distance to process.  And then a few minutes later start texting your friends with lots of all-caps and exclamation points.  Definitely going to be continuing with this series, hopefully in March!  And guys!  I finally read a Kristoff!

Probable Next Read: MORODA by L.L. McNeil
I don’t know what I’m prouder of, the fact that I’m on track to actually complete my monthly TBR, or that I will actually read a self-published book this month!  MORODA is a review copy sent to me by the author, with promises of dragons and sky-pirates!  Looking forward to checking this one out and sharing my thoughts in the coming weeks.

And that’s what’s on my plate – what are you reading this week?
