Chaos Vector  Oathbringer  Harrow the Ninth

Currently Reading: CHAOS VECTOR by Megan E. O’Keefe
Huzzah, I finally started a new book!  CHAOS VECTOR is the sequel to VELOCITY WEAPON, a sci-fi adventure with space ships, AI, planet-to-planet diplomacy, and galactic spanning conspiracies.  VELOCITY WEAPON took some WILD turns, so I’ve been very excited to get into the sequel!  About 40% through so far and hoping to be done by the weekend.

Recently Finished: OATHBRINGER by Brandon Sanderson
It took a while, but it was so worth the finish!  My review is already up, so if you want my full thoughts, you can find them here!  The short version is that THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIVES books consistently are 1000 pages of “this is solid storytelling, but it’s taking a bit to get anywhere” followed by 200 pages of “OH MY GOD THE PAYOFF, THE PAYOFF!!”  The finales are always spectacular and worth every page that came before.  And now I’m officially caught up on THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIVES until the fall!  Another series completion for my Great Series Read Project!

Probable Next Read: HARROW THE NINTH by Tamsyn Muir or THE MEMORY OF SOULS by Jenn Lyons
I’ve got a big TBR this month and a lot of review copies to get through, but the nice thing is that I can have a little mood read flexibility.  Technically Harrow should be my priority since it already released, but I might decide to flip back and forth between fantasy and sci-fi this month.  In which case, the current front-runner is THE MEMORY OF SOULS by Jenn Lyons.  This is another mammoth book (600ish pages), but so far the books in this series have moved pretty quick!

Or, you know, I could pick something else entirely.  Mood reading!

And that’s my week in reading!  What books are on your plate?
