Currently Reading: A SPARK OF WHITE FIRE by Sangu Mandanna
Quick update this week! Haven’t started my YA reread quite yet, as I’m getting ready to travel to visit family this weekend and busy packing and wrapping up some work things, but I’ll be a passenger in an all day car trip, so I’m sure to make up for it! As a reminder, A SPARK OF WHITE FIRE is the beginning of my Sci-Fi Month project of reading all three books in THE CELESTIAL TRILOGY by Sangu Mandanna back-to-back-to-back.

Recently Finished: JADE LEGACY by Fonda Lee
The other reason I haven’t started a new book yet is I finished JADE LEGACY on Sunday and boy did I have a book hangover to recover from after that. It was a slightly quieter ending than I anticipated, but absolutely fitting. I’ll sum up my brief feelings about this book in that I read nearly 400 pages in a weekend that was also packed with other activities and a long D&D session, so you can be sure that JADE LEGACY absolutely sunk its claws into me and would not let go. Full review hopefully by next week, travel allowing!

Probable Next Read: A HOUSE OF RAGE AND SORROW by Sangu Mandanna
As stated above, I’m hoping to just plow right on through this sci-fi trilogy! It’s a series set in the far future, where gods are real and still finding ways to much about in humanity’s life, even though they have space ships and laser beams. We’ll see how far I get in the series by next week!
