It’s amazing to me that today I’m posting my first Waiting On for a 2024 book! But man, I couldn’t be more excited about this one. I absolutely adored Melissa Caruso’s last series, ROOKS AND RUIN, and it’s highly likely one of those books will be in my Top Five Backlist Reads of 2023. This new series is set in a new world and follows a thief and an investigator (one of whom is usually trying to catch the other) who end up having to work together to stop a magical ritual that is breaking reality. Did I mention it’s sapphic?
Synopsis:
