Wow, what a way to kick off the year! 2020 started off with back-to-back reads I absolutely fell in love with and kept going strong from there. Although I had a slight hiccup with a rare DNF, I actually managed to read all the books I had planned for January, and started a little early on my February TBR! All my reviews are linked below (including a few catchup reviews from December), so if you missed anything, now’s the time to find out what I thought!
The Great Series Read Project Update
So, the bad news, no sequels read this month. The good news? I started two series that I will HAPPILY make priority reads for this project! SPELLSLINGER was a quick fun book that absolutely got its claws into me, and I’ve already ordered book two and plan to make it my February goal for the GSRP. I also succumbed to a mood read and FINALLY read NEVERNIGHT and boy oh boy am I definitely reading the sequel. February’s looking crowded, so I’ll probably continue on with this series in March.

And that’s a wrap on the first month of 2020!
Why is it so easy to start new series compared to finishing them? I have this issue myself and have a few high priority sequels on my 2020 TBR that I am going to make myself finally pick up. Other than that DNF, looks like you had a pretty good reading month. Hope February is even better!
